Why join Clan
Cunningham USA? This cannot be fully answered without getting to know the
people that make up the organization, learning more about the common heritage
we share, and understanding our purpose as set forth in our by-laws. But
here's a good introduction as to why you should join with CCUSA and why
we want you!
CCUSA was founded
as an organization for all persons of Cunningham descent,
regardless of viewpoints, as well as persons descending from the District of
Cunninghame families or who wish to help promote the proud history of our
clan. The organization has evolved and grown greatly in these few short
years and represents Clan Cunningham at Scottish Games and Celtic festivals
all over the United States. And our presence isn't limited strictly to the
US! We now have members in Australia, Scotland and Mexico as well.
The officers of
CCUSA are fully dedicated to the growth and development of the clan as a
family-styled organization where all are welcome and treated with respect. Our
quarterly newsletter, THE UNICORN, strives to keep the membership informed of
the clan’s activities by containing informative articles on items on the
clan’s history as well as articles on Scotland or Scottish culture. Our
on-going project to collect members’ genealogies and to connect persons of
common ancestry is a priority of our Clan Genealogist.
CCUSA wants all
persons to feel welcome and wants each member to seek out their own individual
level of activity. We encourage each person to let a clan officer know of ways
in which to be involved by sharing his/her interests, skills, talents and
hobbies with us.

Who Can Join?
Clan Cunningham USA is open to
all persons bearing the name of Cunningham, or descended from a Cunningham,
however spelled, by birth, marriage or adoption.
Membership is also open to persons connected to any of the associated families
from the Districts of Cunninghame or Ayrshire, either through birth, marriage
or
adoption.
For
Everyone Else - Affiliate memberships are
available to persons who do not have a genealogical or geographical Cunningham
connection but are interested in supporting the
activities and goals of the organization.

national newsletter "The Unicorn" which contains articles on Cunningham
history, reports on CCUSA activities around the country and information on
Scottish culture

What's The Cost?
Annual dues are $20 per
household for both regular and affiliate members.
